If you’ve ever felt overwhelmed, stuck in a cycle of stress, pain, or self-doubt, you’re not alone. Life’s challenges can feel insurmountable, and traditional approaches can sometimes fall short. But through hypnosis, I discovered a powerful way to address these struggles at their core.
Back in 2002 (before I learned hypnosis), I was struggling to balance my responsibilities while dealing with constant stress and physical discomfort. I felt like my life was slipping out of my control, and I needed a way to regain stability without relying on external assistance.
I wanted to be able to take care of myself and those I cared about, to feel strong, capable, and fully present in my life again.
Physically, I was in constant discomfort, which made it hard to focus, work, or enjoy life. It was affecting my ability to function, and I knew something had to change.
On top of the physical pain, I felt overwhelmed and defeated. I wasn’t the person I used to be, and that took a toll on my confidence and well-being. I felt disconnected from myself and disappointed by my inability to overcome the challenges I faced.
Eventually, I hit a point where I felt stuck. No matter what I tried, nothing seemed to improve. It felt like I was trapped in a cycle of frustration, and it became clear I needed a different approach.
Then, as if by chance, something amazing happened…
I was doing some online research about what could be done to help with the physical pain and anxiety that I was constantly struggling with and that’s when I discovered the power of the subconscious mind. I realized that the way I was thinking and feeling had a direct impact on my body. It became clear that in order to change my experience, I needed to first shift my thinking.
As a result, I began exploring hypnosis.
Through hypnosis, I was able to create real, lasting change by tapping into the power of my subconscious mind. I learned how to control my pain, release my anxiety, and change my thinking. I regained control of my life.
Inspired by my experience, I became trained in hypnosis to help others achieve similar results. I realized that many of the struggles people face, whether emotional or physical, can be addressed by working directly with the subconscious.

A few months back I was trying to motivate myself to exercise. I tried setting an alarm earlier. I tried thinking about all the great reasons to exercise…but none of it helped.
So, I decided to hire a hypnotist to try and get myself motivated to exercise. And it worked! And this sounds a bit crazy because there is no logic involved here whatsoever, but I asked my subconscious what was holding me back from exercising and remembered a time when I was three when my mom wouldn’t let me have any cookies.
I then gave myself permission to have all the cookies I wanted and enjoy them. (The subconscious can’t tell the difference between a vividly imagined experience and a real experience and it has no sense of time.) and that evening I went for a run.
Now, I can’t tell you the conscious connection between cookies and exercise…all I can say is that it resolved the problem.
That experience showed me firsthand the remarkable power of the subconscious mind. It isn’t always about logical connections; sometimes, it’s about uncovering deep-seated beliefs or memories that were quietly influencing my behavior. Yet, as I continued to explore hypnosis, I realized that this process isn’t always a one-time fix. Change requires persistence and the willingness to revisit and reinforce these breakthroughs.
There were moments where old patterns would resurface, and I had to apply what I’d learned to stay on track. But with each setback, I grew more confident in the techniques I was using.
Ultimately, I developed a system that incorporates the most effective hypnosis techniques to help others manage discomfort, reduce stress, and permanently change negative patterns. By learning to tap into the infinite resources of the subconscious mind, I found a way to take control and live a more fulfilling life.
Now, I live a life of balance and comfort. I can fully engage with the people I love, pursue my goals, and face challenges with resilience. All of this was possible because I discovered the power of hypnosis and learned how to tap into the power of my subconscious mind.

Is hypnosis right for you? At Hudson Hypnosis Center, I create a custom hypnosis program that is tailor-made specifically for you. The way you would learn to correct a problem is completely different than somebody else who has the same problem. This is why hypnosis CD’s, downloadable hypnosis .mp3’s, and group hypnosis sessions aren’t as effective…because they are made for the masses instead of specifically for you.

Yes! Anyone who is willing to be hypnotized can experience the state. When working with an experienced professional, the techniques and program will be customized for you. My clients report they easily achieve the state and can use it for their continued success long after the sessions are over.
No. Hypnosis is a state of mind that requires consent. You will be aware of what I am saying during the session and cannot be made to do anything against your own morals. You cannot be made to tell secrets while experiencing hypnosis.
No. Hypnosis is actually a heightened state of awareness. The hypnotized subject is aware of their surroundings. You will hear cars outside or even sounds around your house, the office, wherever you’re having your session – confirming you are alert and in control the entire time.
Hypnosis is a natural ability of the mind that we all experience daily. The use of hypnosis was recognized by the American Medical Association in 1958. It is completely safe when practiced by an experienced, professional hypnotist. It is only dangerous if you are driving or operating machinery, so hypnosis audio products should not be listened to in those circumstances. There has not been one documented case of hypnosis doing harm to a person.
By definition, hypnosis is not a state of relaxation, but as many issues are related to stress or anxiety, we often create a profoundly relaxed state to assist in making the changes. Most people report feeling very relaxed or pleasantly lethargic.
Your mind will be alert and perceptive of the suggestions it is receiving. Your focus will be directly on your experience or the words of the suggestions you are receiving.
Rapid change is possible with hypnosis. Most of my clients are scheduled for a brief series of sessions, as my goal is to provide you with the most effective hypnotic process in the most efficient use of your time. This model allows for an effective series of sessions with continued reinforcement, self-hypnosis training, and proper customization for your unique set of needs.
Most people begin to experience benefits from the very first session, though hypnosis is a process.
The success of your experience is dependent on two factors – the client’s willingness for change and the skills of the hypnotist.
If the client doesn’t have an honest desire for change, such as a smoker who is only seeing a hypnotist at the urging of a spouse, they are not prepared to accept the suggestions for positive change. If, however, the smoker is fed up with the habit and no longer wants the cigarettes to be a part of their life, they are primed for success.
Hypnosis is not a “one-size-fits-all” process. I will custom-design a process to help you reach your goals.
Hypnosis can simply be defined as a state of heightened receptivity in which you’re able to refocus your mind and body for success. It’s an integrative process of rebuilding habits and behaviors, as well as emotions, beliefs, and feelings.
Have you ever found yourself completely immersed in an activity to the exclusion of everything else? That is a natural trance state. Common examples of this are while watching a movie and becoming transfixed in the plot. Or in working intently and finding that the last four hours have flown by without your conscious awareness. Perhaps you have been reading a book and been so transfixed that you did not hear someone come in and speak with you. Perhaps they surprised you or “woke” you from the state of mind and had to repeat their salutation to you.
Hypnosis is a naturally occurring state you’ve already experienced thousands of times. It is not manipulation, mind control, or magic. It simply is a tool that will allow you to tap into the power of your mind and take control of your life.
There is no evidence that anybody can become stuck in hypnosis. The worst that might happen is that you fall asleep. And in that case, you simply emerge and go back into hypnosis to continue the session.
